What will I need to do before I leave?

You will need to get a visa to travel to China. Do not over pack, Guiyang and Kunming are modern cities where you can buy most things you need and your salary at Interlingua School will enable you to satisfy your shopping needs. The ATMs of Bank of China accept international credit cards as well as many ATM cards from western banks, so check with your bank before leaving.

What happens when I arrive?

We will meet you at the airport, give you a welcome package, take you to your accommodation, help to open a bank account and assist you in processing all the legal documents to start your career as an English Teacher at Interlingua School .

Will Interlingua Schools train me?

Throughout your time teaching English at Interlingua School you will be constantly involved in professional and comprehensive training. Your performance will be evaluated and you will be given feedback as to your progress in becoming an English teaching professional.

Is there a structured curriculum at Interlingua Schools Guiyang, Kunming and Zunyi?

When teaching English at Interlingua School, you will be using the time proven methodology and tools. A comprehensive curriculum has been developed with the young Chinese learners in mind. Besides the established curriculum, Interlingua School has a lot of collection, paper and electronic, for you to choose as supplementary materials. Interlingua teachers follow the curriculum, but we take it as a platform to work on. Every individual teacher is encourage to teach in his or her creative way with his or her own talents.

How large will the classes be?

The class sizes will not exceed 16 students.

Does Interlingua School have a dress code?

Interlingua School is a professional English language institute; therefore its entire staff is expected to adhere to a professional casual dress code.
